My Classroom

I am going on my 7th year of teaching and this will be my 6th time moving classrooms. Needless to say, I've got moving down to a science! :) I really hope that this is my last classroom change for a LONG LONG long long long LONG.....long time. I hope my administrator is reading this. ;) I will be teaching EIP this year and I recently moved into the classroom that used to be our building's Art room. It has TONS of cabinets and 3 sinks and it is the only classroom with windows. I got lucky. ;) However, it is the smallest room. Here are the most recent pictures.

My desk is my favorite part. I was going to cover it with fabric (like I have every year prior), but I did not want to buy  MORE fabric. So, I got a little creative. I used the Silhouette to cut vinyl letters out and pink magnetic border to finish it off. :) I bought the magnetic border from our nearest teacher supply store.  I'm pretty obsessed with how it turned out. I think I just need to add hola!
The mouse pads are from Walmart. The chairs are from Target. The headphones are from the dollar spot at Target.

Stacked crates at every groups of desks. They will hold journals and tidy tubs.
The Smart Board...my FAVORITE thing. :)
Pencil sharpening station
Guided reading group. These crates came from Target. My beautiful mother and father made the top cushion seats for me.
That's my sweet Hallie Rae hanging out on my new carpet:)

This is left over bulletin strips that I hot glued to the wall for hanging our phonics cards.
